Nothing is as real to us than this moment
in our familiar body. The structure in this
painting is the framework of the progress
we make traveling through life, similar to
our advancement in school from one class
level to the next.
The mountain peaks begin to reach their
apexes in the upper level but climb
beyond, symbols of the attainment of
spiritual awareness after surmounting
obstacles and mastery over earthly
things. Since the Earth is like a university
where we can exercise our free will, it is a
teaching ground where we can test our
ideals, practice the universal laws and
eventually advance to higher levels of
learning. The portal in the sky indicates
the passageway to these other realms and
the expansion of consciousness.
