The Inner Freedom
The inner freedom is the state of your own mental practice. If you are forcefully restricted to a situation, you have the option to either hate and resent the condition or to understand the deep lesson, accept or change it, and thus grow from the knowledge of this experience. You can make the present moment into an enemy or you can break through the barriers to peace which does not depend on conditions being positive.
You can live in a free country and enjoy the ability to go anywhere and to follow any belief system and yet still be in mental bondage due to misinformation. The young woman who is sitting on the boulder stares at a model of the Earth, naively accepting the false fact that it was created 6,000 years ago. In contrast, the woman standing next to her, represents the higher enlightened viewpoint and joyfully welcomes the universal truth that our blue planet was formed 4.5 billion years ago. Although mankind has traveled a long distance from its primitive origins, it is not that far in relation to the age of the earth. This relativity of time and space distorts the timepiece in the foreground.
Intuitively we know, but we act and react according to emotional energy. Illness happens when things get out of balance; it originates in the conflict of what our soul knows and what our minds are taught.
