The Last Man
Mankind cannot reach a higher level of consciousness until the last man understands that he is an integral part of a whole. Heavy ballast has to be reduced to elevate to higher altitudes. Similarly, weapons, wars, the irony of capital punishment, racism, segregation and religions that divide humanity are all configurations of fear that have kept us earthbound since the beginning of man. These have to be stopped in order to attain a higher consciousness, symbolized by the reclining woman.
Geometry, order and gravitational attraction are the language of the cosmos that guides planets and stars on their course. Many souls have attained a higher state of enlightenment because they practice this balance and discipline in their lives. They know that a good human action produces a positive benefit for all, but they cannot progress any further until the last man joins them.
