The Human Connection
Art, music and literature are the universal language of humanity. They share our memories and are part of a collective consciousness that make our lives more meaningful.
The six-sided symbol in the painting represents harmony, balance and the strength to endure - expressions of the human spirit. Reinforced by a replica of this symbol in the background are the curiosity, imagination and determination inherent in all great works. The structure of each shape serves an equal and opposite function (much like breathing in and breathing out): as a funnel, they catch and direct the energy of inspiration and joy to one’s inner being; as a horn they project the same to anyone who tunes in to that frequency. That which assimilates the law of rhythm and harmony transcends mundane materialism to a level of spiritual well-being. All is connected by a gridwork of light and love.
In the center is an aster, a flower that can be found on every continent, except Antarctica. It radiates patience, new beginnings, wisdom and hope for a better world.
